  Arrived at LAX airport and waited for the shuttle, it arrived after 1.5hrs. Upon arriving at the lobby of the hotel I was asked to wait in line while other guests checked in. The carpet in the lobby was wet underfoot. When the staff gave me my key they also gave me a ticket for the nightly ‘champagne party’ and pointed out where the bar was. I walked toward my room and passed several intimidating looking characters smoking and drinking by the pool. Upon arriving at my room door I encountered more characters that made me rethink my decision to stay here. I returned to the lobby to ask for a refund, they staff wouldn’t give me one. I decided to call an Uber and leave however the hotel had no wifi so I had to ask an individual I ran into in the parking lot to drop me at the local Westin so I could use their wifi to call an Uber. Spent the night on the airport floor.
  
  I’d rather sleep on a cement floor at an airport than stay at Tradewinds.

  This place is absolutely terrible!! Blood on walls, mold in shower, COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! Fridge didn't work, 2 inch puddle of water in front of door. Doors were being slammed all night. Very scary looking people just hanging around. My husband was offered to buy drugs. I was double charged for the room because they said I stole everything not nailed down. They also said I was still occupping the room even though I checked out 5 days ago.. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! If negative stars was an option it would be negative 10
